Wenping Cao (M’05–SM’11) received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical machines and drives from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2004.,He is currently a Chair Professor of Electrical Power Engineering with Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., and also a Visiting Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Anhui University, Hefei, China.
He is a Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Anhui University not at Aston University anymore.
